Get Hold of Sanyo’s Beautiful Camcorder!

In general, a camcorder can’t get your attention or excite you to get that unless you are told of its capability of shooting 1080p and an amazing amount of built in storage, however, everybody would be reluctant to buy overpriced, proprietary memory cards. But, you can’t just ignore Sanyo’s brilliantly named VPC-CA65 even if it doesn’t do 1080p or have 64 gigs of storage, then what’s going to make you get this gizmo? Well for me, it’s slim and waterproof design did the wonders.

Anyways, being waterproof seems to be not that exciting really. I can’t deny that it looks like a regular old tiny camcorder only and you will not find any special waterproof casings or knobs on this gadget. In fact, you may have to face many weird gazes when you will be submerging your poor camcorder into the water. No issues, eh!

Well, On to the specs, The VPC-CA65, I say again, the name attracted me a lot, can stay alive and work perfectly underwater at depths of up to 1.5 meters for up to an hour. Well, that’s not an awesome time to get excited upon, but it should be enough to capture some good videos of your kids playing, swimming or your snorkeling trip. The actual video recorded comes to be a really high quality H.264 (great for Web uploading) that undoubtedly tickles you for a moment. Big thanks to the built-in image stabilizer for this better quality. Moreover, you can quickly switch over to stills mode anytime to capture some 6 mega pixel snapshots. Though it won’t be as good as you’re DSLR, but will be good enough for the average person for sure.

Speaking the final golden words, Sanyo’s waterproof VPC CA65 introduces a beautiful and attractive waterproof design, high quality video, and decent enough stills, a good package just for $500. The only problem with the gadget is you need to pay for the SD/SDHC cards, which is used for storage.
