nokia-n82-gadgetlink2.jpgThe new is the newest smart-phone from Nokia that is set to take the place of the N95. The new phone will have much of the same features as the and a few new ones to go with it. The new features include a 5 mega-pixel camera and a GPS navigation system that has been built into the phone.

After hearing complaints from consumers that the was too bulky Nokia knew that the newer model would have to be smaller. The N82 may be longer – but it is slimmer and weighs around 10 grams less than the N95. The only thing that they slimmed down that should have stayed the same was the QVGA color screen. The 2.6 inch found on the N95 was reduced to 2.4 inches.

When it comes to adding cameras onto their phones is stepping up the game. The 5 mega-pixel camera that can be found on the N82 is built with a Carl Zeiss lens that can take MPEG -4 VGA video at a high speed of 30 frames per second. It also has a Xenon flash – which can be found on the Sony Ericsson K850i. It has 100MB of internal memory – giving you more than enough room to store as much as you want.

new-nokia-n82-gadgetlink2.jpgIt has built in WiFi and Bluetooth and can be connected to any high speed HSDPA and GSM networks. As with most smart-phones – it comes with a web browser, e-mail applications, and of course the GPS navigation system.

The only downfall to the phone is that it has only been created for Europe. At this time Nokia hasn’t made any plans to bring the new smart-phone to the U.S.
