Home theatre projectors are becoming more and more popular that any of us would have imagined. NEC knows this and that is why they have released their new line of [tag] NP1150 [/tag], [tag] NP2150 [/tag], and [tag] NP3150 [/tag] projectors this week. While they were created mainly for professional businesses and schools I think we can all agree that buying one for the home wouldn’t necessarily be a bad idea.

These projectors are special because they are the very first commercial projectors that allow users to take advantage of the ‘Connect to a Network Projector’ wizard that can be found on any Windows Vista server.

The Network Projector feature allows you to connect directly to the projector without the use of any outside software. The [tag] projector [/tag] can connect to any computer that is on the network with the use of the Remote Desktop Connection. Than all you have to do is connect a USB mouse and/or keyboard into the projector and you can control the computer that is on the network from where you are at.

Another feature that is utilized in these products is Silicon Optix HQV. This technology is a high end performing video processing system that was created for computer signals and high definition videos as well as standard videos. It offers incredible video processing through the use of pixel based, motion flexible de-interlacing that takes away the unwanted motion objects that are usually mixed together with annoying signals. In short it gives you life like images that in different applications including video conferencing.

HannSpree is the rapidly growing brand in the market of UK and other European countries. The company came in light with the release of the heavy metal LCD monitor and the Pop-Art TV. The recent launch of the two exceptionally cheaper [tag] HDTV’s [/tag] made [tag] HannSpree [/tag] more famous and now it is really competing hard with the big names.

The recent XV models comprise two different models: 32in and 37in. the XV model has a screen resolution of 1366 x 768. It has a response time of 8ms and loaded with the twin HDMI slots. The great thing about the models is that they are available at the cheaper rates of £359 and £499 correspondingly.

One of the biggest moves from [tag]Philips[/tag] is they are now using LED to power its[tag]Ambilight[/tag] technology. The 47-inch 47PFL9732D, and 52-inch 52PFL7432D both share the company’s trademark[tag]Ambilight[/tag] system for dynamically changing colored lights behind the display to fit the mood in supporting movies.

 

Philips has also thrown in a 120Hz refresh rate, we should see picture quality significantly improved on both sets. According to Philips both the 47-inch and 52-inch sets have standard two-channel embedded speakers.
