Following a press event, new 2007 Gen 5 series of media player and recorders from Archos’s house was introduced recently in both New York and Europe. Together with four new portable models of Archos Gen 5 line including Archos 105, 405, 605 and 705, company has launched its first set-top DVR. The gadgets seem to have left their excellent impression in the market right at the launch.
So, what’s so special about these portables and why they have got so much of hype? Well, big news goes here! These new Wi-Fi-enabled portables take in direct access to an online “Content Portal.” Furthermore, these portables include a Flash-supported Web browser option. You would love to know that the portal offers you pay-per-download CinemaNow movies and elegant touchcreen display of portables let you pick the movie of your choice and download it to the in-built hard drive. Bingo! No need of PC anymore.
