We all love the and now Wacom has released a compact version of it just in time for the holiday season. In case you were wondering all of the features that could be found on the original 21 in. full sized model are still available for this compact tablet.

cintiq-12wx-gadgetlink2.jpgThe new device – which is selling for $1,800 (1,200 Euros) – has already hit the stores and attracted consumers to its unique design. The new display features dimensions at 405×270x1 mm. and a 12.1” TFT screen that offers 1280×800 in pixel resolution. With it you can draw, paint, and sketch. It is any artists dream gadget.

While anyone can purchase the 12WX – it is mostly geared to professionals who make their living off of creating digital content. Some of the jobs that they can work on are storyboards, finishing, re-touching, and composition. If you are looking to share your work through digital format than they have made the traditional sketchpad available – which allows you to send and share anything quickly.
